You know that old saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words?” That’s what we’re relying on today to tell you all about our 2nd annual Top of Tamarack event that took place last month. We have heard from those who participated and from those who worked to help put on the race that it was an emotional, epic, and meaningful day. For all we saw, heard, and experienced ourselves, we’d have to agree. So we are going to let the pictures and videos from that amazing experience paint a picture for you, because we could not do the day justice in words. 

Top of Tamarack is a race unlike any other because it is not only about putting physical strength on display (and man oh man did we see some impressive physical feats that day!), but also showing true mental strength. It is a race that celebrates those who are battling mental health challenges on their way to mental health recovery and who are still here with us today. It is a race that honors those who have lost their lives to suicide. It is a race that brings together athletes of all levels and gives them a purpose for moving forward. 

We are grateful to all those who participated, to our incredible sponsors, and to the volunteers who poured their hearts into pulling off such an amazing day.
