A Day of Hope
There are some stories that don’t just inspire you — they gently shake something awake inside you. Kayla Jones, the author of A Day of Hope and the founder of Hopes Highways, has one of those stories. And now, we’re incredibly honored that she has joined the Gr8ter Board with us.
Give Hope This Giving Tuesday
HOPE IN A SMALL BOX Finding Light in the Dark Through the Sock Project As Giving Tuesday approaches, we here at Gr8ter have been thinking a lot...
A Message From Our Founder
Sometimes the hardest part of the climb is not the trail, but the moments when we feel ourselves slipping into the dark. This month reminded us that we don’t have to climb alone — connection is the rope that pulls us back up.
Minutes of Movement with Coach A.K.
At Gr8ter Inc., we believe that mental health recovery begins with three simple but powerful pillars: Connection, Purpose, and Movement.
These pillars guide everything we do.
They are how we build bridges between individuals and their communities.
They are how we create pathways to hope where hope once felt unreachable.
And they are how we transform quiet, ordinary moments into powerful stories of resilience.
The Minutes of Movement program shines as a living example of what happens when heart meets purpose, a movement made visible through Coach A.K. Whittaker’s dedication and a community that believes in second chances. This program takes wellness beyond gyms, beyond storefronts, beyond traditional spaces, into a women’s correctional facility, where lives are being changed one minute, one step, one heartbeat at a time.
Emma Vlcek- Miss Canyon County’s Teen
At Gr8ter, we love shining a light on young leaders who are using their voices to create change — and Emma Vlcek is one of those incredible changemakers.
Emma, Miss Canyon County’s Teen and a competitor for Miss Idaho Teen, has made it her mission to support teens in making healthy choices, opening up conversations around mental health, and reducing the stigma that surrounds both addiction and mental illness.
