September Dilgard-Frogley
Founder of Connection is the Cure, September is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. Her work is deeply personal and driven by her own experience of losing her brother, Robert, to addiction and suicide. This loss ignited her passion for mental health advocacy and inspired her to create a platform that connects individuals with essential resources and support.
September believes that mental health profoundly affects every aspect of our lives. She asserts that when we struggle with our mental health and feel disconnected from ourselves, it becomes nearly impossible to forge meaningful connections with others, which only exacerbates our suffering. Her commitment to Connection is the Cure is rooted in the conviction that we are not meant to carry our burdens alone and that building connections is crucial for healing and thriving. Learn more about her impactful work at www.connectionisthecureidaho.org. Raised in the North End of Boise, Idaho, September now lives in Meridian with her husband, Travis, and their five children. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, taking every opportunity to be on the water or in the mountains.

Megan Lacy
Owner of Fleet Feet Treasure Valley and Team USA elite athlete, Megan brings her expertise in fitness and community engagement. Her dedication to promoting an active lifestyle makes her a standout leader in the Treasure Valley. Megan has been competitively running for 22 years. Throughout this time, she has learned first hand why it is crucial to take care of your mental health, to be your best physically. After struggling with years of eating disorders, depression, suicidal thoughts, OCD and anxiety, Megan has learned how to channel her competitive nature and embrace and accept her imperfections. She has also learned the importance of proper diagnoses to move forward and find happiness in her journey. Connect with her on Instagram, Strava or Linkedin.
Megan grew up in Marlton, NJ and moved to Boise after graduating from Stanford. Originally, her plan was to just stay here for two years to compete at Boise State as a graduate transfer on the track team. She quickly fell in love with the trails, area and people and couldn’t leave. She now lives in Boise with her partner Alex where they operate Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, race direct several races and try to do as much as they can to support our running and walking communities.

Kylee Wiscombe
Founder of Gr8ter, Kylee is passionate about empowering others to rise above the struggles life presents. Over a decade ago, she was diagnosed with a severe mental illness and faced intense challenges, including manic episodes, suicidal depression, and involuntary hospitalizations. Despite these obstacles, Kylee’s journey led her from struggling to get out of bed to becoming an ultrarunner, now competing in a race each month.
Her personal transformation fuels her deep desire to help others navigate their own mental health challenges. She founded Gr8ter to provide peer support and create community initiatives such as Trail Fridays and the Gr8ter Socks Project, all aimed at making a positive impact. Discover more about her mission at www.gr8ter.org.
Kylee grew up in Kuna, Idaho, and once considered herself a girl who hated running. However, she learned to love it, especially trail running—though she says that her “running” is used very loosely and often includes a lot of hiking. She now resides in Boise with her husband, Miles, and their two sons, Brycen and Trevor.
