A Message from the Founder:

Last month during our October Climb Time challenge, I learned something powerful: it’s not the climbs we complete that matter most — it’s the connections we make along the way.

I hit some roadblocks. I went into the pit. I missed workouts. I felt like I was failing.
But even in that darkness, little wins showed up — a friend checking in, a kind message, a shared laugh. When I returned to Trail Fridays, I shared honestly during our W.I.F.L.E. (What I Feel Like Expressing) — and the love and support I received reminded me why this community exists.

I’m not “recovered.” I’m in recovery. And every step I take helps me climb out of the pit a little faster and reconnect with what truly matters.

Even if your goals shift, even if you fall short — don’t let that define failure.
Look for the wins. They’re always there.

MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS — LET’S TALK.

November is Men’s Health Month, and the truth is… too many men are hurting in silence.

💡 The reality:
• Nearly 1 in 10 men struggle with anxiety or depression — but less than 50% ever receive treatment.
• Men die by suicide at 4x the rate of women.
• More than 60% of men say they don’t talk about mental health because they feel pressure to “man up.”
• Movement, connection, & purpose support all dramatically reduce the risk — but stigma keeps many from reaching out.

This isn’t just a statistic.
This is your brother. Your dad. Your partner. Your best friend.
Maybe even you.

LET’S OPEN THE DOOR TO REAL CONVERSATION
Comment below (anonymously if you want):

What’s ONE thing that helps your mental health on hard days?
Even small habits count — a walk, music, grounding, texting a friend.
Your comment might be the nudge someone needs today.
Your share might reach the one person who’s been struggling quietly.

RESOURCES YOU CAN USE OR SHARE
• 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text anytime
• @headsupguys — depression support specifically for men
• @NAMICommunicate — free groups, education & crisis resources
• Movember.com — men’s mental health, suicide prevention & awareness
• Local support: mental health centers, peer groups, gyms, faith groups, community nonprofits — connection saves lives.

IF YOU’RE A MAN READING THIS:
Your feelings matter.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
Asking for help is strength — not failure.
You are needed here.
You are valued.
You are not alone.

HELP US BREAK THE STIGMA
✔️ Like this post
✔️ Comment something supportive
✔️ Share to your story so more men see it
✔️ Tag someone who shows up for you

Let’s make this month impossible to ignore.
Let’s be the generation that finally says: Men deserve safe spaces too.

Hope, Folded Into a Pair of Socks.

Every March, we deliver thousands of Sock Project boxes to mental-health facilities, shelters, and support programs across Idaho.

Inside each box is more than a pair of socks…
It’s warmth.
It’s comfort.
It’s dignity.
It’s a reminder that someone out there still believes in you.

For people navigating mental-health crises — moments when life feels heavy, lonely, or overwhelming — something as small as warm, high-quality socks can bring grounding and relief.

This year, we have a BIG goal:
2,000 Sock Project boxes.
And to make this happen, we need to raise $3,000 on Giving Tuesday.

When you donate, you’re not just funding socks.
You’re funding hope — for people fighting battles most of us never see.
Tap the link in our bio to donate.

Together, we give warmth. Together, we give care. Together, we give hope. 💚

Sock Project Sunday!

Did you know that the socks we include in our Sock Project boxes are often from Bombas — one of the most generous brands out there?

Here are a few fun facts that make Bombas the perfect fit (literally):

🧦 Bombas was founded on a “buy one, give one” mission — for every item purchased, one is donated to someone in need.

💚Their socks are the #1 most requested clothing item in homeless shelters — that’s what inspired their model.

💜Each donated pair is designed specifically for giving — darker colors (hide wear), reinforced seams (for long walks), and antimicrobial fabric (to prevent infection).

🌎 Since launching, Bombas has donated over 100 million items to those in need.
We love knowing that when we hand out Sock Project boxes, we’re not just giving socks — we’re sharing comfort, quality, and care.

💜💚 Gr8ters Sock Project delivers a box of hope to those who may need it most. We’re sharing comfort, connection, and care.

💚💜And as we move toward Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to continue building this project of hope. Every Sock Project box is a reminder that someone matters — and together, we can deliver that hope to even more people this year.
