Meet Kayla Jones

Board Member

Kayla Jones leads with heart first. After walking through her own seasons of overwhelm and  breakdown she rediscovered her worth one intentional day at a time. She is the creator and published author or A Day of Hope and founded Hopes Highways to help others feel seen, supported, and reminded of their own value. Kayla believes that even the smallest moments of care can change the course of a life, because they changed hers. She brings that same compassion and purpose to the Gr8ter board, pairing her lived experience with a genuine desire to lift others higher. Whether she’s encouraging someone to take their first breath of hope or celebrating their breakthrough, Kayla shows up with empathy, honesty, and a quiet strength that makes people feel safe to begin again.

More about Kayla

Who I am professionally: I have a background in Corporate leadership as a Senior Executive Assistant for large companies in the Treasure Valley for over two decades. I am also the CEO and Founder of Hopes Highways, empowering others to empower themselves and published author of A Day of Hope, how one day a month can transform your life and reclaim forgotten hope.

My people: My fiancé Don and our blended family and my children Aeriel, Trevor, and granddaughter Ariyah are my heart and soul. I also rely and my extended family and friends who are priceless.

I’m good at: My strengths are Maximizer and Achiever, rooted in organization. I also believe that broken moments can become beautiful new beginnings. I love helping others realize the hope already inside them.

I’m scared of: Spiders, I would break my leg to get away from a spider. I am also afraid of leaving this earth school without a legacy of hope for others to follow, but I am working on that every day.

My favorite self-care: My favorite form of self-care is my Day of Hope. A full 24 hours each month where I step away from the noise of life and reconnect with myself. It’s a sacred pause I created years ago during a season of overwhelm, and it has become my anchor ever since.

My hobbies:  A cozy candle and  journal, scrapbook.
