Peer Support

A Personalized, Movement-Driven Approach

Coming Soon!

At Gr8ter, we believe that healing and growth are best fostered through genuine connection, purposeful movement, and shared experience. Our one-to-one peer support program is currently in development and is designed to connect you with a trained peer mentor who understands your journey. Whether you’re looking for guidance, empathy, or a supportive sounding board, our mentors are here to walk alongside you—literally and figuratively—as you work toward improved well-being.

Rooted in our pillars of movement, connection, and purpose, our peer support sessions break away from traditional office settings. If the participant is able, we offer a “walk-and-talk” format—meeting at outdoor locations like the Boise River Greenbelt, local parks, or trailheads. This approach creates space for relaxed, meaningful conversations while taking advantage of the well-documented mental health benefits of walking.

Why Walking?

Walking has been shown to boost mood, reduce anxiety, and support overall mental health. The rhythm of walking, fresh air, and natural surroundings create a calming environment that lowers stress, sparks creativity, and fosters positive connection. It’s a unique, active setting designed to support both body and mind.

Trained Peer Mentors

Our peer mentors are selected for their compassion, lived experience, and dedication to helping others. Each mentor will be trained in Intentional Peer Support (IPS) and certified in CPR, ensuring a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed experience. Drawing from both personal experience and evidence-based strategies, they’ll help you navigate life’s challenges with empathy and understanding.
